Bianca Belair Avoids Mentioning Sasha Banks When Discussing WrestleMania 37 In Interview

Since Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out of the WWE last month, outside of commentary burial, no one in the company has been vocal in interviews or otherwise about the pair.

Speaking on Sports Illustrated’s Laces Up, Bianca Belair discussed what it takes to be a WWE star. When she talked about her WrestleMania 37, Belair stopped herself from mentioning Sasha Banks. The timestamp in the video below for the conversation is 4 minutes 13 seconds into the clip.

“When I had the main event of WrestleMania with with, uhh…. at WrestleMania 37. I was the first black woman to main event WrestleMania that night. It was recognized and I wanted to be a part of it because we’re not just WWE Superstars, we are wrestlers, actors, we are icons.”

While neither Sasha Banks or Naomi have been officially released by the company, reports suggest Banks may have been quietly released by the company during the Vince McMahon debacle over the last two weeks.
