Volkanovski Eyeing Champ-Champ Status If He Defeats Holloway at UFC 276
The Featherweight champion strongly believes that Saturday night could be the last time we see him at 145lbs.
Since entering the UFC, Alexander Volkanovski has not suffered a loss (11-0 UFC, 24-1 MMA) After capturing the Featherweight title from Max Holloway in December of 2019, the champion has defended it successfully against the former champion Holloway, Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung.
Volkanovski wants a new set of challenges, goals and a new championship if he is able to pass Saturday night with a successful defense vs. Holloway in their trilogy.
The champion looks to make easy work of Saturday night to fight for the vacant Lightweight title at 155lbs and if he is able to, the challenges for him at Lightweight consist of Charles Oliveira in a title bout, fights against Justin Gaethje, Dustin Poirier, Islam Makhchev, Michael Chandler or a blockbuster fight vs. Conor McGregor.
