Angelo Dawkins reveals the advice John Cena gave him and Montez Ford during Monday’s RAW tapings.
This week on Monday’s RAW, John Cena returned to the promotion to celebrate his 20th anniversary since debuting for the WWE and as such, was backstage all night. WWE recorded a lot of content with Cena on Monday, but some of his most important work might have been off-camera as he surely gave many members of the roster advice.
Speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Dawkins discussed his off-camera interaction with Cena.
“We got to talk to John a little bit off camera. He just gave us words of encouragement, he’s big fans of both of us, just keep doing what we do. Giving us advice on evolving and improving ourselves and making sure we never get comfortable being in the spot we’re in, even though we’re in a pretty good spot. Wanting more, keep wanting more, keep improving, don’t stop. The work gets harder as time goes on and you keep getting more responsibilities. We want those responsibilities. He was just telling us that,”
