Becky Lynch Christens Herself “Ireland’s Greatest Treasure”

Being one of the most famous pro wrestlers ever to come out of Ireland, this may be accurate.

Becky Lynch debuted in the WWE eight years ago and while it was rocky at first, Lynch has proven to be one of the biggest women’s draws in pro wrestling history, being one of the biggest reasons a women’s match would main event WrestleMania for the first time.

Lynch took to Twitter on Friday and declared herself Ireland’s greatest treasure. The Man also proposed that July 2nd be celebrated as National Becky Day going forward.

Hi @PresidentIRL . I wanted to remind you that tomorrow night I’m going to win #MoneyInTheBank and cement myself as Irelands greatest treasure once again. Maybe we make July 2nd National Becky Day? Or get to work on some sort of Bronze Statue?

Time will tell if President Michael D Higgins will respond to Becky Lynch’s demands but for now, she is happy to declare herself Ireland’s greatest treasure.
