WWE Source Says MITB “Is A Far Cry from Cody Winning The Briefcase In An NFL Stadium,” But Expects Money In The Bank To Deliver

It looks like the feeling backstage is hopeful despite the changes made to the Money In The Bank Premium Live Event.

One of the most popular events of the year in the WWE, Money In The Bank is an event that can change the entire company with two briefcases. Over the years, we have seen some incredible Money In The Bank shows. While the show has sold out, the original plan was for the WWE to host Money In The Bank in Allegiant Stadium in Vegas.

WrestleVotes took to Twitter on Saturday, sharing a quote from a source related to Money In The Bank.

Spoke to a source in Vegas just now about tonight’s MITB. Their words to me were “this show is a far cry from Cody winning the briefcase in an NFL stadium”… however, they are confident it will deliver.

While the thought of Cody winning the case in an NFL stadium would have been a tremendous moment, it looks like WWE are still hoping to put on a banger of a card on Saturday night.
