Tetsuya Naito was not on AEW x NJPW’s Forbidden Door Pay-Per-View and now we know why.
Naito is apart of LIJ, which did have a part in the show. Shingo Takagi represented Los Ingobernables de Japon at Forbidden Door, through Hiromu Takahashi was scheduled to participate before he was pulled due to a illness. Writing in his NJPW Diary, Naito claimed he wasn’t invited to walk through the Forbidden Door.
Unfortunately I was not invited to the “AEW x NJPW” show that is being talked about all over the place. Not invited = not needed. Right? Because of that frustration, I haven’t watched any footage of this show. I’m genuinely upset about it.

Many fans would love to see Naito on AEW TV, so hopefully that can happen eventually and if there is a Forbidden Door 2, we hope he is apart of it.
