Israel Adesanya says it just made sense to pay tribute to The Deadman.
Last weekend, UFC 276 went down from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In the main event, Israel Adesanya would defend his UFC Middleweight Championship in a 5 round shut out of Jared Cannonier. Before the fight, Izzy would walk out to The Undertaker’s theme music.
While speaking with Sports Illustrated, the UFC Middleweight Champion stated that his tribute to The Undertaker simply made sense to him.
“That came tome last Tuesday. During my workouts with my team, I normally have WWE ‘Attitude Era’ theme music playing. So this made sense for me. The whole UFC production helped bring my vision to life.”

For those unaware, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Vince McMahon, Nick Khan and Pat McAfee attended UFC 276 following the conclusion of WWE Money In The Bank.
