A former WWE producer wants to jump ship to the competition.
Road Dogg has been a member of the WWE backstage hierarchy before. Previously working as a producer for the WWE, Road Dogg of course was also part of the New Age Outlaws. One half of that team already competes in AEW, as Billy Gunn has been a part of the roster for some time now.
While speaking on “Insight with Chris Van Vliet,” Road Dogg made it clear that he would love to work backstage in AEW in the future.
“I wanted to keep my relationship with [WWE] really good even if I went somewhere else to work. Which, I’d love to do that. I’d love to work with promo guys backstage at AEW because it’s just new talent — Well, half of them are NXT talent I’ve worked with in the past, but I would love to do something challenging, you know what I mean?”

Time will tell if Road Dogg will ever make the jump to AEW, but her certainly seems more open to the idea than most would be in his position.
