Monday night RAW is set for tonight at 8pm EST. But, it may be getting some SmackDown flavor.
Coming off of the heels of Money In The Bank, WWE is now on the road to SummerSlam. Tonight, we could be leading the charge towards the ‘Biggest Party Of The Summer’ with brands clashing. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Intercontinental Champion and SmackDown star, Gunther, is set for RAW. Early plans see him in a segment with R-Truth. The report is as followed:
WWE Raw is getting some help tonight, assuming things to according to plan. Fightful Select has learned that WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther was scheduled for the July 4 episode of WWE Raw, at least as of the morning of the show. Gunther was not featured on WWE Money in the Bank, but is heavily favored by people of influence within the company. We’re told that the original plans called for him to be in a segment with a “very patriotic” R-Truth. In addition, we’ve heard that Alexa Bliss, Riddle, Street Profits, Theory, MVP, Omos, Bobby Lashley, Otis, Chad Gable, Mysterios and Judgment Day were all scheduled to be featured on Raw as of the morning of the show.
