Hiromu Takahashi was set to be apart of Forbidden Door as a teammate of Sting, Darby Allin & Shingo Takagi.
Sadly, Hiromu was ill and couldn’t make the show. The match turned from a eight man tag to a six man tag when Sting, Darby and Shingo took on El Phantasmo and The Young Bucks. Man fans were upset about Hiromu Takahashi missing the show, but Hiromu was upset as well. He had this to say to NJPW media;
I’ll probably never get a chance to team with Mr. Sting again. That was a precious moment.
