Tony Khan Open To The Idea Of Working With The WWE On A Crossover Show
AEW president Tony Khan has no problem working with the WWE.
Since debuting in 2019, AEW has been considered to be WWE’s main competition in the world of pro wrestling. While AEW have not reached the heights of the WWE, for a three year old company, their success is incredible. AEW recently put on the crossover event, Forbidden Door, with NJPW and it appears we will see a sequel to that event.
While speaking on The Ringer’s Masked Man Show, Tony talked about potentially working with WWE on a huge joint show. Khan made it clear he would be open to that.
“I’m not sure if that’s gonna happen [AEW and WWE doing a joint show]. But, I would be open to talking about that type of thing. It’s not crazy but it’s a bold prediction.”
