4th Of July Edition Of RAW Sees Dramatic Drop In Viewership

Expected, but still a steep decrease in viewership in the promotion.

WWE RAW this week hailed from San Diego and was a special edition of Monday Night RAW due to it falling on America’s independence day. The card featured Asuka and Becky Lynch in a No Holds Barred match in the main event with a six man tag involving Lashley, The Street Profits, Alpha Academy and Mr MITB, Theory. But how did the show do in ratings?

Brandon Thurston reports that WWE Raw on July 4 averaged 1.563 million viewers, which is down 22% from last week’s total of 1.951 million viewers. This is the lowest number that WWE Raw has recorded since May 30.

As mentioned previously, this was to be expected as holiday editions of WWE TV tend to have a bad ratings week.
