Claudio Castagnoli is looking to go 3-0 in AEW.
During tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli and Jake Hager had a backstage promo where it was announced that the two would be going one-on-one next week. Hager told Claudio that he was a undefeated MMA fighter and he won’t beat him, as well as saying Claudio wasn’t world champion in ROH or WWE, and he won’t be world champion in AEW. Claudio fired back by saying that his team beat Hager’s team in Blood and Guts last week, and he’s undefeated in AEW, looking to make his record 3-0 next week against Jake. The battle of the former partners is going down.
Hager and Claudio were former tag team partners in WWE as the Real Americans, managed by Zeb Colter. They lasted a solid amount of time before splitting and going their separate ways. Now, they meet again in AEW, this time being across from each other.
