Paige thanks the WWE for her career.
Paige is set to leave the WWE on July 7th as her contract with the promotion is set to expire. Paige has been in the WWE for a long time and on the night after WrestleMania 30, she arrived on the main roster. Since then, Paige has had a roller-coaster ride both in career and in her personal life. A few years ago, Paige was subjected to a lot of stuff going wrong around the same time. Her sex tape was leaked along with her relationship with Alberto Del Rio spiralling, which lead to drinking issues. Paige also found out she couldn’t wrestle around this time.
Now, in a letter wrote in The Players Tribune, Paige thanked the WWE for not giving up on her during her time at rock bottom.
A few years ago I got pretty close to the bottom.
It was like, almost overnight, so many things changed: Suddenly my neck was fucked and I couldn’t wrestle. I popped a drug test. My sex tape leaked. I got depressed. I started drinking. And I became less of an asset to WWE, and more of a liability, for a long time. I’m sure of it.
But they never lost faith in me — they never once threw me off to the side. They got me the help I needed when I needed help, and they gave me the time and space I needed when I needed time and space.

Paige is clearly still incredibly grateful to the WWE for her time in the promotion. Paige has already been booked for several appearances once her contract expires, and here’s hoping that one day she can return to the ring.
