Jonathan Gresham is a sleeper pick for one of the best wrestlers in the world. The current Ring Of Honor champion, Gresham has been influential in many shows outside of AEW and the WWE. However, being signed to Ring Of Honor, that makes Tony Khan his boss and if Tony calls, Gresham has to cancel his prior plans, and that’s what we have seen this week.
In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said that Gresham was originally scheduled for the Australian tour. Instead, Tony Khan pulled the plug because AEW needed him for AEW Rampage this week.
“Jonathan Gresham was also scheduled for that tour but pulled by AEW since they needed him in the U.S. to do his heel turn and build the ROH PPV this week.”

Time will tell if Gresham will be on the next Australian tour with WSW.
