KUSHIDA has recently returned to NJPW, but now, he’s headed to IMPACT.
IMPACT wrestling will be running a set of shows on 7/15 and 7/16 in Louisville, Kentucky called “Derby City Rumble”. So far, IMPACT announced one match, which will take place on the 7/15 show. That match is the battle of tag team partners as Alex Shelley takes on Chris Sabin. A big matchup for the event. But, to make things even better, IMPACT announced last night that KUSHIDA will be debuting at the set of shows. Opponents were not named at this time, but this continues the trend of IMPACT and NJPW working together. New Japan’s Bullet Club faction has run rough-shot on IMPACT, even adding a few of IMPACT’s own into the NJPW faction, such as Ace Austin and Chris Bey.
