Tonight’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown emanated from Fort Worth, Texas as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns made his return to weekly television. WWE teased some dissention between the Tribal Chief and his ‘Wise Man’ as Paul Heyman question whether Roman Reigns could tame Brock Lesnar when Brock Lesnar is backed into the corner. On top of that, Austin Theory teased a Money in the Bank cash-in, but it wasn’t anything more than a method of tantalizing the Head of the Table. Reigns still does not have an opponent for the forthcoming Clash at the Castle event, either, as Drew McIntyre did not face Sheamus on this week’s episode to determine the number one contender following Summerslam.
In other events, The New Day came after The Viking Raiders, Liv Morgan made her first appearance on SmackDown as Women’s Champion and Maximum Male Models certainly modeled some outfits.
