A fight for tonight’s UFC on ESPN 39 card is officially off and planning to be rescheduled very soon.
Nina Nunes posted to Instagram where she announced her bout tonight vs. Cynthia Calvillo is no longer happening due to Nunes having a stomach bug. You can read the post below.
Both fighters are on losing streaks, Nunes at 2 and Calvillo at 3, both women will now have to prepare for a rescheduled bout which will be announced at a later time.
UFC on ESPN 39 takes place Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The main card airs on ESPN after prelims on ESPN/ESPN+.
The updated UFC on ESPN 39 lineup includes:
