It looks like the brand split will be ending sooner rather than later.
This year, it has seemed like the WWE have been slowly leaning into ending the brand split. With many stars coming and going on both shows, it has led to some great rivalries and matches. This week’s SmackDown would continue this trend as Mr Money In The Bank, Theory was in the building. But he wasn’t the only RAW star backstage.
After Friday Night Smackdown went off the air this week, fans were in for a treat. WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley squared off against Austin Theory in a dark match.
Lashley would go on to win the match. The two are set to have a rematch for the WWE United States Championship at SummerSlam later this month.
