Vince McMahon Was “Acting Like Nothing Happened” Backstage At SmackDown Despite Fresh Allegations
It looks like Vince is still in denial, despite the fresh allegations.
Vince McMahon has had a rough two months in the public eye. Initially, it was revealed by The Wall Street Journal that McMahon was being investigated by the WWE board regarding a three million dollar hush money payout. At the time, McMahon would step down as CEO and Chairman of the company for the time being. His daughter Stephanie has taken over both roles in the interim.
Fresh allegations broke earlier this week about three more hush money payouts. Despite a memo to all talent and staff stating the company were taking the allegations seriously, Vince was there acting like nothing happened per Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer.
Just a note from backstage at Smackdown. Business as usual. Everyone, especially Vince, acting like nothing happened.
