Frank Mir on Brock Lesnar in WWE: “I don’t watch that often so I don’t know how bad he is at it”
Frank Mir doesn’t blame Brock Lesnar for doing the bare minimum in WWE.
While speaking on the latest edition of the Insight podcast, Van Vliet noted that Brock cut a promo after UFC 100 but does not really speak in WWE lately. Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir then claimed that Lesnar is just doing the “bare minimum” to cash a check and doesn’t blame him for it.
“I don’t know much about his [Brock Lesnar] pro wrestling, I don’t watch that often so I don’t know how bad he is at it. From what I understand listening to other people in the industry, he does the bare minimum of what he has to do to cash the check and I don’t fault him for that. We’ve all got to make money. I think he’s more naturally [a] fighter than he is a pro wrestler, so it is not his first love.”
This past Sunday was the anniversary for Lesnar defeating Mir in their rematch at UFC 100 to retain the UFC Heavyweight championship which happened 13 years ago.
Brock Lesnar dropped the WWE Championship to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 in a title unification match.
The Beast returned last month on Friday Night Smackdown to F5 Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. Lesnar will be facing off against Reigns for the titles at SummerSlam in a last man standing match.
