Naito Recalls Being Left On Read By His Mother On His Birthday, Will Not Leave People On Read Going Forward
Sometimes it takes a change for people to change their habits.
Naito is a relatively simple man but when he is emotional about something, he has to share it regardless of the relevancy to his pro wrestling career.
Naito recently discussed an email he sent to his mother on his 40th birthday:
“On my birthday I sent a thank you e-mail to my parents. ‘It’s been 40 years in the blink of an eye. Thank you.’ I still have not received a reply from my mother…Eh!? I got left on read? That’s stealing my gimmick! I will do my best not to leave people on read anymore.”

Time will tell if Naito will be able to keep to his promise of not leaving people on read as much going forward.
