Alexa Bliss may be returning to one of her more darker characters.
Since returning to the WWE earlier this year, Alexa Bliss has returned to a version of character that is more in line with the character she had around WrestleMania 36. While she still carries Lilly around, for the most part her Funhouse gimmick seems to be pretty much in the past. Last night on WWE RAW, the commentary team criticized Bliss for not having the same spark and drive that she had with her Funhouse gimmick, which confused a lot of fans.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer speculated that there is definitely something happening with Bliss.
“He said it in a way to where it wasn’t like just something that he said on his own. It was clearly something, the way he brought it up, that it was his instructions to say from the back, so there’s something going on with Alexa Bliss and it’s not that like… Because the announcers… Your job is never to say that the old character is better than the new character. There’s ways to say it and they said it in that way, so something’s up with Alexa Bliss and we’ll see what that is.”

Bliss would get the win on RAW, as she and Asuka would walk away the victors over Doudrop and Nikki ASH. Time will tell if Bliss will be returning to her darker characters any time soon.
