The Great Khali Issues Statement After Being Accused Of Slapping Toll Worker
You shouldn’t mess with The Great Khali.
According to The Tribune in India, Khali has been accused of slapping a toll worker in Ludhiana following an argument. A video of the incident shows Khali arguing with the toll workers, but no alleged slap is shown. Khali has accused the toll workers of blackmailing him and using racial slurs. The video shows a toll plaza employee asking the WWE hall of famer why he slapped his colleague when an identity proof was asked for. “You were asked to show your ID card, show the ID card,” the toll employee says to Khali to which he replies, “You are blackmailing me”. The employee fired back, “We are not blackmailing you. Why did you slap him? Show the ID card if you have it.” Khali can be heard saying in the video “I do not have an ID Card.” A barricade was put in front of his car to prevent him from leaving, but Khali got out and pushed it away as the toll workers tried to stop him. No complaints were filed, but police were involved. You can see the video below.
Khali responded to the drama with a video of his own with the caption on Instagram being “Hello Friends. Yesterday while going to karnal, toll tax employee of Phillaur stopped my car and misbehaved for selfie. When I denied selfie, he ruthlessly passed racist comments also used bad words.”
