KUSHIDA calls for a match in StarrCast against someone he’s very familiar with.
NJPW will run on StarrCast weekend on July 30th in Nashville, Tennessee for “Music City Mayhem.” Previously, Jon Moxley vs El Desparado in a No DQ match was announced for the show. Now, KUSHIDA made the call for his opponent. NJPW posted a video on his socials of KUSHIDA himself reading a letter to his dearest, all-time best tag team partner, Alex Shelley. KUSHIDA says they were supposed to wrestle in the past but the match was cancelled, so now he wants the match in Nashville. KUSHIDA and Shelley have teamed in the past in Japan and America as the Time-Splitters.
As of this writing, Alex Shelley has not responded to KUSHIDA’s challenge, but we can’t see him saying no. Music City Mayhem is in for a treat when the Time-Splitters step in the ring again, but this time, on opposite ends.
