Earlier this week, Santino Marella announced Marty Scurll would be appearing at one of his indie shows in the near future.
This has led to many fans criticizing the move, as Scurll has found himself blackballed by the majority of the wrestling industry due to the allegations made against Scurll regarding the Speaking Out movement. Scurll was accused of initiating a relationship with a minor, and with Santino also hosting a training camp for children on the same week as Scurll’s booking.
In a tweet Thursday morning, Santino Marella referenced his booking of Marty Scurll. He believes in second chances. It remains to be seen if fans will feel the same.
Everybody deserves a chance to redeem themselves.

Time will tell if the backlash from fans will be enough for Marella to drop Scurll from the show, but for now he is sticking with his guns regarding Scurll’s booking.
