The Rock Praises His “Fiercely Independent” Daughter Ava Raine, Wants Her To “Blaze Her Own Trail”

The Rock feels his daughter is going to be big in the sports entertainment industry.

For those unaware, The Rock’s daughter Simone Johnson is currently signed to a developmental deal with the WWE and is set to compete under the ring name “Ava Raine.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, The Rock reacted to her appearances at recent NXT House Shows:

“She’s made history, very very proud of her. She is fiercely independent, it’s very important for her to make her own way, blaze her own trail, blaze her own path. She doesn’t come to me looking for a lot, which I respect. I’m here watching and supporting,”

Time will till if Ava will be able to capture the imagination of fans to the degree her father did, but he has absolute faith in her abilities as a pro wrestler.
