Seth Rollins Discusses Adapting To Cody Rhodes’ Injury In “Magic” Hell In A Cell Match
Seth Rollins believes he and Cody Rhodes created magic at Hell In A Cell.
Rollins found himself in a unique situation at WWE Hell In A Cell last month. Cody Rhodes would tear his pectoral muscle off the bone prepping for the match, but would still compete in the match anyway. With only one good arm – Rhodes was forced to rely on Rollins for a large portion of the match.
Speaking to Stephanie Chase of Digital Spy, Rollins described the brand-new feeling of the situation.
“It’s one of those things where, I’ve never encountered anything like it, so the preparation is entirely brand-new. It was a full hurdle thrown my way that I’d never seen before and so trying to wrap ourselves around it was an interesting process. I think what we got out of it was magic, how we got there wasn’t ideal but that’s life, you gotta roll with the punches sometimes.”

Rollins is currently feuding with Riddle while Rhodes is on the shelf while rehabbing from the torn pectoral surgery he had days after Hell In A Cell.
