Montez Ford Isn’t Interested In Singles Run Until He Finishes Up Unfished Business With Dawkins

Montez Ford still has business in the tag team division.

Sports Illustrated’s Justin Barrasso recently caught up with Montez Ford. He was asked whether he is ready for a singles run. Ford said he still has unfinished business with The Street Profits before he’s ready to think about it.

“The difference between singles wrestling and being part of a tag team is that all the attention is on you. I’m not ready to shift my focus yet. There is still a lot left for me to attain with Dawkins. SummerSlam is a huge opportunity. We want to make that night special.”

Time will tell how long it will be before Montez is put into a singles star program but for now, Ford is focusing on The Street Profits’ match with The Uso’s at Summerslam.
