Vince McMahon Retires At 77
Vince McMahon has retired from WWE.
After news broke of Vince McMahon in the heap of controversies with NDA’s, many wondered what could be next for Vincent Kennedy McMahon. With Nick Khan taking the lead in WWE, many fans wondered if he’d hat fully take over the company. But, Vince continued to be on TV and make public appearances following his NDA controversies, seemingly making it known that he was going to ride it out and work through them, or was he? Today, shockingly, Vince McMahon took to his social media to announce that at 77 years old, he is retiring from WWE.
In the early 70’s, Vince started off as a commentator for the company which was under control of his father. After his father passed away in the early 80’s, Vince took control of the company and boosted the WWF to heights it’s never seen before. Vince McMahon would be the leader behind the phenomenon known as WrestleMania and would then ring in the “Attitude Era” in the 90’s, where he would also occasionally compete as a wrestler and even became WWF champion at one point. Vince McMahon would continue to be a evil on screen character boss, while also actually running the company off of television. Vince McMahon continued to run the company and make sporadic TV appearances throughout the 2000’s and even making appearances in 2022. Now, Vince McMahon has retired from the WWE at 77 years old.
