Three Fights To Look Out For: UFC London
UFC London is kicking off on Saturday, July 23rd with the prelims starting at 12pm EST and the main card starting at 3PM EST. The card is headlined by Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes, also featuring the return of Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett. But, lets take a look at three fights you may not know about, but should be looking out for!
Muhammad Mokaev vs. Charles Johnson
Mokaev is walking into his second UFC fight as a undefeated 7-0 fighter. His UFC debut came as a submission win of 58 seconds in round one at the last UFC London show in March. Now, he’s back to prove he can do it again and keep his undefeated streak alive. But, it’s no easy task as he goes up against the 11-2 Charles Johnson who’s making his UFC debut. Charles is coming in on a four fight win streak with three of the four being finishes. He’s looking to make an impressive UFC debut and what’s more impressive than finishing an undefeated fighter? Keep your eyes locked on this, you will not want to miss this prelim bout!
Paul Craig vs. Volkan Oezdemir
Paul Craig is on a six fight no loss streak. His last win came in March also at the last UFC show in London. Paul was on the brink of being defeated and threw up a triangle to catch a insane submission victory in such a epic comeback. But it won’t be so easy to catch a quick turn around this time out when he’s across the cage from Volkan Oezdemir. Volkan is on a two fight losing streak, but don’t count him out. He has knockout power and previously has 12 KO victories with his 17-6 record. This is going to be pure fireworks and there’s a huge possibility of a early finish. Don’t blink!
Mandy Bohm vs. Victoria Leonardo
Mandy Bohm made her UFC debut on a 7-0 win streak back in September of last year and lost. Now, she has a chance to rectify that loss and pick up her first UFC win. But, she isn’t the only one. Victoria Leonardo also has no UFC wins. She fought in January and August of 2021 and lost both of them. Now, Mandy and Victoria have a chance to pick up their first UFC win. One of these women will have the best night of their lives with their first UFC victory, but which one will it be? Keep your eyes locked on the UFC Prelims!
UFC London prelims and main card will be available on ESPN+. This is the second IFC London event this year. Don’t miss it, it’s sure to be an exciting fight night card, especially with the heavyweight bout of Tom Aspinall vs. Curtis Blaydes in the main event slot. It’s time!
