Who Was Responsible For Putting Last Night’s SmackDown Together
Last night’s SmackDown was an eventful one, but no more so due to the fact that Vince McMahon announced his retirement mere hours before SmackDown went live.
A question left on fan’s minds was who would be running the show backstage now that McMahon has retired.
Fightful Select has confirmed who was responsible for putting SmackDown together:
Fightful has learned that as of now, Bruce Prichard is leading creative, Ed Koskey was also a point of leadership, and Triple H was helping direct traffic at WWE Smackdown on July 22.
Fightful Select Report
It is interesting to note who was put in charge in the short term while the hierarchy of WWE shifts in the coming weeks. This could lead to more influence on the product for Triple H along with his return to the EVP of Talent Relations’ role.
