Jonathan Gresham Didn’t Have Entrance Gear Due To “Wanting To Be Himself For His Last Match” At Death Before Dishonor
Jonathan Gresham’s absent entrance gear now makes sense to many fans.
It was reported earlier today by Fightful Select that Jonathan Gresham has requested his release from his Ring Of Honor/AEW contract. This was apparently made prior to Saturday’s PPV.
Fightful Select have also reported on why the former Ring Of Honor World Champion did not have his usual entrance gear on prior to the match.
Fightful has reached out to Khan and Gresham for responses, and we’re told from Gresham’s side of things that as of this moment, Gresham is “done with wrestling for the foreseeable future after this month.” We were also told that Gresham came out without his regular entrance gear because he wanted to be himself and see everything clearly for what would possibly be his last match. We’ve not heard from Tony Khan or ROH’s side of things officially.

Gresham’s entrance of course usually is a lot more than what we saw last night, where he would usually carry a flag along with his octopus mask which were both absent last night.
