Anthony Henry Shuts Down Retirement Plans
Anthony Henry is sticking around in pro-wrestling.
Anthony Henry planned to retire from professional wrestling back in 2020 before it was reported he was signed to WWE in January 2021. Henry’s WWE run only last 6 months as he was part of the massive talent cuts that took place throughout 2020 and 2021 then, he planned to retiring from wrestling following that release. Now, Anthony has put out a tweet saying that he has no plans to retire.
Anthony Henry has been featured a lot on the independent scene both as a singles and in a tag team with the WorkHorsemen alongside JD Drake. He’s been featured a lot on AEW programming and recently wrestled Colt Cabana on ROH’s Death Before Dishonor Zero Hour show. With the tweet coming out of that weekend, there could be a possibility that we could see even more Anthony Henry on ROH and AEW. Anthony Henry has been competing regularly on IWTV’s weekly show Uncharted Territory and is scheduled to take on Tank in tonight’s episode.
