Seth Rollins apologises to fans who will not get to see him wrestle at SummerSlam.
Seth Rollins was scheduled to face Riddle at SummerSlam this weekend, but the match was postponed early on Wednesday due to Riddle suffering a kayfabe stinger injury. Many speculated if Rollins would remain on the card but for now it looks like he will not be part of the premium live event.
Rollins took to Twitter on Wednesday and addressed the match being cancelled.
For anyone who purchased a ticket to #SummerSlam hoping to see me in action, I apologize. I did everything I could over the last 6 months to earn my spot on this show, but some things are out of my control. Thank you for always singing my song. They’ll hear ya someday.

Time will tell if Rollins will remain off the card, but for now he will be missing this years SummerSlam event.
