Tony Khan Fires Back At Fans Who Believe AEW Will Suffer Due To Vince McMahon Retiring
Tony Khan is not afraid of losing talent to WWE now that Vince McMahon has retired from creative as well as his other roles within WWE.
Reports have surfaced that certain talent would still be with WWE if Triple H had been promoted to his current role sooner. This has caused many fans to believe there will be an exodus of talent returning to WWE over the next few months. Tony Khan spoke on Busted Open Radio about the changes happening in WWE.
“There are a lot of changes in pro wrestling. I think it’s going to be really positive for the fans overall. I am a little amused that changes in the competition, people think it’s going to magically change the landscape. Some of these accounts, Twitter can be a fun place to follow, but some of the narratives I’ve seen every day for the last week are really amusing to me. I’ve got people signed here for five years and people think that just because the CEO, Chairman, head of creative, those people changed in the competition, people I have five-year contracts with are going to magically switch teams? Good luck with that.“

Time will tell if we will see people leaving AEW in the near future due to the new hierarchy in WWE.
