It looks like FTR have their eyes set on some trios gold with the help of a good friend.
CM Punk is currently out of action with a broken foot that Punk recently referred to as completely shattered. He is currently rehabbing the injury and has no set return date from the injury.
On Thursday evening, Dax Harwood of FTR took to Twitter to tease Punk returning to challenge for the new AEW trios titles alongside the ROH Tag Team Champions.
Just talked to Punk. He said the only way he’d come back is if he could win the brand new 6 man straps with his friends. We’re his friends.

Time will tell if CMFTR will ever challenge for the AEW 6 man tag titles, but Dax’s tease has quickly gained traction on Twitter, so that could lead to at least a challenge from the good friends.
