Drew is headed to Clash At The Castle.
Tonight on SmackDown, the show kicked off with Drew Mclntyre vs. Sheamus in a “Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook” with the winner receiving a WWE Undisputed Universal Championship match at WWE’s upcoming Clash At The Castle event. The match was essentially a No-DQ match with bar inspired weapons around the ring such as a actual bar, bar chairs, and whiskey barrels. Plus, the classic tables and chairs were involved as well. After a hard-fought battle, Drew overcame Sheamus and interference by Ridge Holland and Butch and picked up the win to become the new Number One Contender.
Theory attacked Drew following the match and taunted with the Money In The Bank briefcase. Drew will head to Clash At The Castle, but will he face Reigns, Lesnar or Theory? We’ll see following SummerSlam tomorrow night!
