Three Fights To Look Out For: UFC 277
UFC 277 is live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, this Saturday, July 30th on Pay-Per-Veiw. The event is headlined by Juliana Peña vs. Amanda Nunes for the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Title in the highly anticipated rematch after Peña got the upset win in the previous bout. But, we’re going to take a look at three fights you may not know about, but should look out for. Lets get into it!
Drakkar Klose vs. Rafa Garcia
Drakkar Klose is back after just a three month layoff. He’s coming off of a second round TKO victory after a previous two year layoff. Drakes is wasting no time getting his 2022 on track and is looking for a two fight win streak. But, another finisher is standing across the octagon as Rafa Garcia stands in his way. Rafa is coming off of a second round submission victory from the same April card that Drakkar won on. Both men are coming in on a three month turn around, both looking to get their win streaks to two. We may be looking at an early finish, this is one to look out for!
Michael Morales vs. Adam Fugitt
The early prelims headliner consists of the undefeated, 13-0 Michael Morales who made his official UFC debut in January, where he got a first round TKO finish. One hell of a debut for Morales, but can he keep the momentum going, moving onto 14-0? Well, Adam Fugitt is a 8-2 fighter who’s finished 7 of his 8 wins. He’s making his UFC debut and of course will be looking to make a huge statement by finishing an undefeated fighter. One fighter battling to keep his undefeated record while the other is looking to make a great first impression. I’m expecting fireworks in this early prelim headliner, this is definitely one to look out for!
Joselyne Edwards vs. Ji Yeon Kim
Joselyne Edwards is back after a one month turn around after picking up a decision win on the UFC 275 pay-per-view card. The 11-4 fighter is looking to get a streak going after being 2-2 in the UFC. But, she has a talk task ahead of her when she steps inside the octagon with a vengeful Ji Yeon Kim, who’s on a three fight losing streak. But, after going to decision back in February, it was certified that she was going to get the win, until she didn’t. Fans and MMA personal alike exploded with judge complaints after Kim dominated the fight and somehow lost. But, she has another chance to defeat her losing streak this Saturday. Nothing better than a fighter looking for revenge, especially revenge of a losing streak. This is one to look out for!
The UFC 277 Early Prelims are available on ESPN+ at 6pm est, while the Prelims are available on ABC and ESPN at 8pm est. plus, of course, the main card goes down on Pay-Per-View at 10PM est, which is headlined by Juliana Peña vs. Amanda Nunes for the Bantamweight Title, while the interim Flyweight title is on the line in the co-main with Brandon Moreno going head-to-head with Kai Kara-France. You do not want to miss this event or any of the fights above. It’s TIME!
