Wheeler Yuta Defends His ROH Pure Title In Internet Exclusive Slap-Boxing Match Against Stokely Hathaway
The ROH Pure Title can also be contested under slap-boxing rules.
Stokely Hathaway took to Twitter to say he’d respect Wheeler Yuta more as ROH Pure Champion if he won every Pure Title match via Slap-Boxing, which he calls the “Purest technique known to man.” Well, it seems Wheeler took offense to Stokely talking shit and approached him backstage for a slap-boxing title defense in a hilarious twitter video. William Regal made the match official and a referee was present to crown a winner as Marina Shafir and Isaiah Kassidy watched on. Yuta retained his championship after only one slap that made Stokely cry. You can see the hilarious video that Stokely posted on social media below.
Following Yuta’s win, Stokely still thinks he’s a bitch. Stokely better hope Yuta doesn’t see that, or else Yuta will make sure Stokely will be crying in the car at next week’s Dynamite. But, in fairness to a Stokely Hathaway, you never hit a man with glasses, what the hell, Wheeler?!
