Edge made his return to WWE after nearly two months off WWE TV.
At SummerSlam Saturday night, The Judgement Day faced off with The Mysterio’s in a no disqualification tag team match. The two teams have been feuding since Edge was taken out as the leader of the faction as the heels have looked to turn Dominik Mysterio against his father.
The match was a high paced affair despite the No DQ stipulation with Judgement Day about to win, the lights went out.
Edge was revealed as the reason for the vignette’s that have been airing since Money In The Bank earlier this month as he made his entrance to The Brood’s classic theme to confront the stable he was eliminated from last month spearing both Damien Priest and Finn Balor before dropping Finn onto the ropes for a 619 from The Mysterio’s, handing the win to The Mysterio’s.
