Moxley is set to defend his title on August 13th.
GCW Homecoming is coming up on August 13th and 14th. Previously, Jon Moxley, who is the current GCW World Champion, was announced for night one of the event. Now today, we have his match officially set. Jon Moxley will defend his GCW World Championship against EFFY come August 13th. EFFY is a former GCW Tag Team Champion with Allie Katch as “BUSSY.” But now, he’s looking to turn his focus on the World Title. EFFY has been a GCW original and now it’s his time to shine.
So far, the GCW Homecoming Part 1 lineup is as followed:
- GCW Ultraviolent Championship Match: Alex Colon vs. Rina Yamashita
- Matt Tremont vs. John Wayne Murdoch
- Nick Wayne vs. StarBoy Charlie
- The Briscoes vs. Los Macizos
- GCW World Championship: Jon Moxley vs. EFFY
The likes of Maki Itoh, Charli Evans and Sawyer Wreck have been announced for the show, but no matches announced yet. We will keep you updated on any new match announcements.
