Conor McGregor to Have Leading Role in 80’s Classic “Road House” Remake
It looks like the two-division champion will be making his movie debut soon.
Conor McGregor will be making his motion picture acting debut along Jake Gyllenhaal in the 80’s classic “Road House” remake, it was announced today. Filming starts within the month. He will have a leading role.
Here’s a statement from McGregor’s spokesperson Karen Kessler below:
Above it reads that McGregor is very excited to expand his storied career to join Hollywood. He will be joining actor Jake Gyllenhaal in this reimagining of “Road House” a beloved classic. While fighting does remain the top focus for McGregor. This is just the beginning of another successful venture in the McGregor empire. He is eager to start filming soon.
McGregor has said he plans to return to the octagon at the end of December or beginning of January, no update has been received on if McGregor won’t be fighting at the end of or beginning of next year. However it’ll be exciting to see how well McGregor does on the movie screen in his first leading role.
