Stokely Hathaway is on a role.
Since coming to AEW at Double or Nothing, Stokely Hathaway has wasted no time racking up clients. First, he immediately aligned himself with Jade Cargill and the baddies, then proceeded to get Leila Grey into the baddies group as well. Then, Stokely set his sights on Lee Moriarty, trying to recruit him. Though it took a bit of convincing, Lee Moriarty accepted Stokely’s offer last Friday on AEW Rampage. Now, tonight, Ethan Page was in the ring to cut a promo, talking about how he deserves to be used better and has been one of the most underutilized talent on the roster. Suddenly, Stokely Hathaway appeared behind Ethan. When Page finally noticed, Hathaway asked him what he was doing out here, then whispered in Page’s ear, handed him a business card and got out of the ring. Whatever he said, we don’t know, but it must’ve worked because Ethan took the card then joined Stokely on the ramp and walked to the back with him. Following this segment, Stokely Hathaway tweeted out a graphic of Lee Moriarty, Ethan Page, and a blank spot, seemingly hinting at new clients incoming.
Who else could Stokely possibly recruit? Hopefully we see soon.
