WWE crowned a new women’s title contender on SmackDown.
Tonight on SmackDown, they ran a gauntlet match with seven women to see who will face Liv Morgan at WWE Clash At The Castle for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship. Sonya Deville and Aliyah kicked off the match, and the results are as followed:
- Sonya Deville defeated Aliyah
- Raquel Rodriguez defeats Sonya Deville
- Raquel Rodriguez defeats Shotzi
- Raquel Rodriguez defeats Xia Li
- Raquel Rodriguez defeats Natalya
- Shayna Baszler defeats Raquel Rodriguez
Liv Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shayna Baszler at WWE Clash At The Castle. Interesting that coming off of a feud with Ronda Rousey, Liv hops into a match with Shayna’s good friend, Shayna. Another hard test for the champion.
