A major WWE star is in a position to possibly take a championship off Roman Reigns.
On last night’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Karrion Kross returned to WWE and blindsided Drew McIntyre, laying him out. Scarlett was also with Kross, a big part of his presentation that was removed by Vince McMahon previously. After taking out McIntyre, Kross would turn his attention to Roman Reigns, who was in the ring at the time.
Fightful Select now reports that it looks like Kross may be next in line to take a championship off Roman Reigns as the idea has been pitched backstage.
Karrion Kross returned to WWE on the August 6 Smackdown, putting himself in the main event picture. Fightful reported that day that WWE had interest and had discussed bringing Kross back. We’ve also heard of a specific pitch within creative and one of the reasons for it. Among the pitches we’ve learned is that Kross would be inserted into the Drew McIntyre-Roman Reigns feud and be involved in a match for one of Roman Reigns’ world titles, as opposed to both.

Time will tell if WWE will go through with this pitch but for now fans can look forward to seeing more of Kross in the future as it looks like he will be inserted right into the main event scene.
