This was not the best way to open any MMA card and looked awful from many sides.
The opener to UFC Vegas 59 ended in an awkward finish. Mayra Bueno Silva defeated Stephanie Egger with an armbar, that clearly did not see Egger tapping from the cameras in the venue.
The broadcast mentioned that a judge said they saw the tap and it was more than enough to call it a submission win for Bueno Silva, this win earned her 4th place for fastest submission in women’s Bantamweight history.
