Kris Statlander is confirmed to be injured after a match on AEW Dark.
Bodyslam.net’s Kyle Sparks reported from AEW Dark tapings last Friday that it appeared that Statlander suffered an injury in her match. During the AEW Dark taping on August 5, Statlander seemingly hurt her foot when she landed awkwardly after she hit a big boot. AEW confirmed the news during the August 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. Tony Schiavone announced that she was injured, but he didn’t offer any specific details.
Due to Statlander’s injury, Toni Storm will be the next challenger for the AEW Women’s World Championship, a spot that appeared to be going to Kris.
