Bret Hart Comments On Vince McMahon’s Retirement
Bret Hart addresses the elephant in the room with regards to the retirement of Vince McMahon.
No WWE superstar may ever had such a contentious relationship with Vince McMahon more so with Bret Hart. Hart left the company for WCW after the infamous Montreal Screwjob but would later make peace with both McMahon and Shawn Michaels regarding the incident.
In an interview with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling, Hart was asked about McMahon’s retirement, and he stated that he felt somewhat sad about it.
“Like everybody else, I’m mostly just kinda surprised. I don’t think anybody’s ever made as big a footprint as Vince McMahon. I feel kinda sad about it, actually. I know people probably think I would be gloating or happy to see him go through what he’s going, but I don’t. I feel bad that it happened, or whatever’s happened. I think his loss or his absence from the business will be sorely missed,”

It is interesting to note that Bret feels sorry for the former boss of WWE, despite their historically contentious relationship in the past.
