Drew Parker Returning To PROGRESS

Former GCW Extreme Champion and BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Champion Drew Parker is set to return to PROGRESS for the first time since 2019.

Drew Parker made his intentions to return to PROGRESS at today’s Chapter 137: Copperhead show as part of the Deadly Viper Tour, after interrupting Thunderbastard Winner Spike Trivet whilst he addressed the Sheffield Crowd. Parker would challenge his former Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) stable mate Trivet to a Deathmatch at the upcoming PROGRESS Chapter 141:Handshakes and Cheeseburgers on the 18th of September.

Drew Parker first made an appearance for PROGRESS in 2017, he would go on to form DNR alongside Spike Trivet and Chuck Mambo among others as they set out to take out many of the other talents in PROGRESS such as Mark Haskins and Eddie Dennis. Parker would leave the DNR stable when he headed to Japan where he became a regular for Big Japan Wrestling and there Deathmatch scene eventually capturing the BJW Deathmatch Championship on two occasions.

Parker would also go onto compete in GCW’s Ultra Violent division managing to win the GCW Ultra Violent Championship on one occasion and recently winning GCW’s Tournament of Survival 7. Parker is also set to be part of the TNT Extreme vs GCW who, on the 17th of September as part of a 6 man tag match, teaming with Tyler Devlin and Big F’N Joe against Alex Colon, Jimmy Lloyd and John Wayne Murdoch.

PROGRESS Chapter 141: Handshakes and Cheese Burger is set to feature a host of GCW talents including Effy, Allie Catch, Blake Christian, Jordan Oliver, Nick Wayne and more.
